Current ProjectsOur current initiative is to raise funds for the 1,000 Children Are In Need project.Another initiative that BAF implemented in partnership with The Borlaug Institute at Texas A&M University is the Junior Master Gardener Program, a curriculum that educates children with a focus on agriculture. This program was carried out at the Texaco Family Support Center and at public schools in Tegucigalpa. Initial ProjectSince January 2006, Building A Future (BAF) has served a community of over 500 children with the construction of the Texaco Family Support Center. This was BAF’s first project initiative and its success has confirmed the desire to create a bigger impact in other marginalized communities in Honduras. |
