Board of Directors
In addition to local involvement and support, projects are administered and managed by BAF staff and volunteers in the U.S. The Board makes periodic visits to Honduras to ensure operational efforts are proceeding according to schedule.
 
Jordan Baucum

Director

Jordan Baucum is the Regional Network Optimization Analyst at Chevron, working in Global Marketing for Latin America. Jordan graduated with honors from Texas A&M University from the Mays Business School with a degree in Marketing. While at Texas A&M, Jordan received the coveted Buck Weirus Spirit Award for his leadership and involvement in student life. Jordan currently serves on the Vice President for Student Affairs Development Council at Texas A&M University.

David Clayton
is a Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company, working primarily in the energy and health care sectors. David received a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and was named a University Scholar. While at A&M, David received the Buck Weirus Spirit Award for his leadership and involvement in the Memorial Student Center and the Corps of Cadets.

Robert Furr

Director of Finances & Technology

Robert Furr recently retired from the Army National Guard after eight years of service. He received the Bronze Star Medal for service in Iraq and was named the 2004 Texas Army National Guard’s ‘Soldier of the Year’. Based in Dallas, Texas, Robert has been an IT consultant with Sungard Consulting Services since 2004. He graduated with highest honors from Texas A&M University with a degree in Management Information Systems and was honored with the Brown Foundation-Earl Rudder Memorial Outstanding Student Award, the highest honor bestowed upon a graduate.
 
David Hollon
David Hollon is an analyst at Goldman, Sachs & Co., working in the firm's energy private equity fund. Previously, David worked for Simmons & Company International as an analyst in the firm's Investment Banking Division, focusing on mergers and acquisitions in the upstream energy sector. While attending college, David directed a disaster relief effort which raised $10,000 in proceeds for the victims of the Asian Tsunami disaster. David is an member of the Houston World Affairs Council and serves on the Dean's Young Former Students Board at Texas A&M University.
 
Jose Mahomar

Director

Jose Mahomar is an associate at Goldman, Sachs & Co. He works in the institutional side of Goldman Sachs Asset Management in the consultant relations team. Jose graduated in August 2004 from the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University with a Finance degree. Jose, a citizen of Honduras, has many years of experience in development through leading and volunteering in non-profit programs in Honduras.

Director of Media & Communications

Carolina Modenessy-Mahomar, a Honduras native, graduated in 2009 from New York University with a Master of Arts in Graphic Communications Management & Technology. During her graduate career, she interned at NBC Universal in the Digital Media division. In 2004, she was named a University Scholar and received the Top Graduate Award when she graduated with Highest Honors from Abilene Christian University with a B.A. in Graphic Design/Advertising. She has been involved in social service projects, including medical brigades and community outreach, in Honduras and in the U.S.
