Honduras

Tegucigalpa City Even though Honduras has a relatively low Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in comparison to other Latin-American countries, it has immense natural wealth and growth potential, which in our opinion, makes it one of the richest countries in the Americas. Honduras is gifted with natural resources such as pristine beaches, fauna and flora, rich rain forests, fertile lands, historic Mayan ruins, and access to both the Pacific and Atlantic oceans.  In addition to this, Honduras is favorably located in the center of the Americas. Honduras has the potential to become a leading example of a nation emerging out of social and economic challenges led by its richest asset of all ...its people.

While we could list endless facts and statistics that analyze the deep challenges that Honduras faces, we would rather mention Building a Future’s (BAF) part in solving some of the problems. BAF is committed to providing educational and social development opportunities for impoverished communities to generate a wave of change for future generations in Honduras.

Honduras is a unique country with exceptional people. Whether you are interested in volunteering for BAF or would like to know more about Honduras, please contact us.
